Look beyond the photographs
Visit the property and neighbourhood if possible. Test the commute at the times you expect to travel. Look at noise, access, parking and nearby services.

Ask for the complete cost
Check what is included, what is billed separately, which deposits apply and how they are returned. Clarify maintenance, utilities, cooling, internet and parking. Separate initial payments from recurring costs.

Check before signing
Confirm the identity and authority of the person renting the property, contract terms, payment details and the registration process applicable to the emirate. Keep the quotation, contract, inventory and payment records.

Resolve uncertainties
Ask about unclear clauses or charges before signing. For interpretation of a contract, consult a qualified professional.
