CORE Community Guidelines

Clear rules for every CORE space.

The same standard of respect, responsibility, and conduct applies in the private community, WhatsApp groups, and CORE's official social channels.

Scope

One set of guidelines for private, public, and free spaces.

These guidelines apply to every space operated or moderated by CORE / CORE Community Hub: the private digital community, WhatsApp groups, the free-access Facebook group, the Facebook page, Instagram account, LinkedIn profile, posts, comments, and messages sent to official CORE accounts. They also apply to interactions between users that begin through a CORE space when the conduct is reported to administrators.

Some CORE spaces are free or public, while others are available by paid membership. Following a social page or joining the free Facebook group does not include access to or benefits from the private paid community. Regardless of access type, participation requires compliance with these guidelines, applicable UAE law, the rules of the platform being used, and administrator instructions.

CORE social spaces covered by these guidelines

1. UAE law and platform rules

Any message, comment, post, material, offer, or activity shared through a CORE space must comply with applicable federal and local UAE law and the rules of WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or the platform being used. CORE guidelines do not replace each participant's legal obligations.

2. Respectful communication without insults

Mutual respect is required. Insults, offensive remarks, ridicule, harassment, threats, personal attacks, abusive language, racism, discrimination, hate speech, attacks on religions, sectarian, regional, ethnic, or tribal conflict, extremist content, and incitement to violence are not allowed.

This rule applies to posts, comments, reactions, visual material, messages, and other online interactions. Content posted on social networks or through other digital means may create liability under applicable UAE law, and each participant remains responsible for their own content.

3. Stay relevant to each space

Posts and discussions must follow the purpose of the relevant group, page, or conversation. Administrators may move, decline, or remove content published in the wrong space.

4. Accurate information and credible sources

Do not present assumptions, rumours, or unverified information as facts. For information about law, visas, safety, health, emergencies, or government announcements, use official sources wherever possible. Opinions and personal experiences must be clearly presented as such.

5. No public attacks, accusations, or naming and shaming

Denigration campaigns, public lists of people or businesses, and public accusations of fraud, theft, illegality, or other serious misconduct are not allowed. Personal experiences may be described factually and civilly, without insults, threats, assumptions presented as fact, disclosure of personal data, or allegations of criminal conduct without an official finding.

Serious concerns should be reported privately to CORE administrators and, where appropriate, to the competent authorities.

6. Privacy and confidentiality

Do not share conversations, screenshots, messages, photographs, recordings, audio-visual materials, or information belonging to another person without permission. Do not publish phone numbers, addresses, locations, identity documents, visa information, bank details, or other personal data without consent.

CORE cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality for content visible to other participants. Do not publish information you do not want other members of that space to see.

7. Advertising, recommendations, and promotions

Advertisements, commercial offers, promotional links, discount codes, affiliate or referral links, services, and events may be posted only in designated spaces and under administrator rules. Promotions must be lawful, accurate, and transparent.

The person posting is responsible for any required licence, permit, or authorisation. Approval of a post is not verification, certification, or endorsement by CORE.

8. No promotion of other groups or communities

Promoting, recruiting members for, or distributing invitations to other groups, communities, channels, or similar platforms is prohibited without the prior, explicit, written approval of CORE administrators. This includes links, QR codes, contact numbers, invitations, promotional posts, adding CORE members to other groups, and contacting them privately for recruitment.

A neutral reference to an external resource is not automatically a breach. Administrators may approve exceptions where there is a clear benefit to the community.

9. No unsolicited commercial contact or recruitment

Do not use member lists, phone numbers, profiles, or information obtained through CORE for sales, recruitment, campaigns, investments, adding people to other groups, or repeated private messages without the recipient's consent.

10. No unauthorised fundraising or financial requests

Donations, fundraising campaigns, crowdfunding, humanitarian appeals, public transfer requests, shared funds, raffles, lotteries, loans, and collective investments may not be promoted through CORE without written administrator approval and all legally required authorisations. CORE approval does not replace any authorisation required by law.

CORE does not collect donations, hold funds for participants, or process peer-to-peer payments between them.

11. Prohibited content and activities

  • Illegal, explicit, pornographic, extremely violent, abusive, or child-endangering content.
  • Promotion of drugs, weapons, regulated goods, or criminal activities.
  • Unauthorised gambling, raffles, lotteries, or prize schemes.
  • Counterfeit goods and fake follower, traffic, or engagement services.
  • Misleading or fraudulent content designed to manipulate participants.

12. Relevant posts without spam

Check whether there is a dedicated group or topic before posting. Do not send the same message across multiple CORE spaces, and avoid repetitive, excessive, or off-topic messages.

13. Participant responsibility

Each participant is responsible for their own messages, recommendations, offers, decisions, and activities. CORE does not automatically guarantee the accuracy of information, legality of offers, quality of services, or reliability of people and businesses mentioned or promoted. Any independent interaction or transaction takes place directly between the parties, who must carry out their own checks.

14. Moderation and enforcement

Depending on severity, administrators may decline or remove posts and comments, request clarification, issue warnings, limit interaction, block users, or temporarily or permanently remove participants. Serious breaches may result in action without prior warning.

Action may be limited to one channel or extended to other CORE spaces where necessary to protect the community. Any effect on a paid membership is handled under the Terms of Service and Cancellation & Refund Policy. Potentially unlawful content may be preserved as evidence and reported to the platform or competent authorities where necessary.

15. Guideline updates

CORE may update these guidelines to reflect legislative changes, new platform rules, service development, and community needs. Material updates will be communicated through the website or relevant CORE channels.

In short

Be respectful, protect other people's data, verify information before sharing it, and use each CORE space for its intended purpose.
